There are an
estimated 1.7 million orphan children in Kenya East Africa
today! Everywhere that you turn children are begging for food,
money or just want to be touched. Many have lost their parents
to HIV/AIDS, malaria, typhoid or other disease. Others have been
abandoned and left alone to fend for themselves because of the
inability to be cared for. We have seen children as
young as 10 years old engaging in prostitution, stealing and
begging in order to survive. This year we met a young boy
around 12 years old drinking gasoline on the streets of Kitale.
Drugs and alcohol are a way of life in order to mask to pain of
their existence. Too many of these children face futures defined
by poverty, malnourishment, and even death!
For $20 a month, you can help one child after another escape a
life of horror.
Each month you will
provide care for orphans and other vulnerable children with
things like healthcare and nourishing food. You will help children
stay in school or receive vocational training by helping pay for
school materials and fees. You will also help equip volunteer
caregivers who provide loving care to orphans and vulnerable
children. Your gifts will also help us offer HIV-prevention and
abstinence training for youth, and train community leaders to
become advocates for children who have been orphaned or made
vulnerable because of AIDS. Together we can help save them, one
by one.

We have started the construction of the first of five 24' X 48' buildings to house the orphan children. Each
unit will house 20 girls on one side and and 20 boys on the other
with bunk beds and foot lockers for each child.. The units will also
have a small living quarter for house parents. Each unit total
construction cost is estimated at $11,500.00

other countries to our affiliate ministry, the
Jesus Power Center
in Kenya, East Africa. Delivery time is between 4 and 6 weeks and
there is a customs charge for each package sent. This is an
additional burden for this ministry that is already struggling
beyond it's means. We deeply appreciate your desire to help support
